Permeable Pavers

Permapave was developed to filter rainwater, eliminate outfall pollution and enable clean water to recharge subterranean aquifers, an undeveloped source of urban water worldwide. Permapave products are sought after worldwide and continue to provide solutions to increasing environmental problems.

Extreme Makeover

Permapave pavers were installed in the season finale of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in New Orleans. Each episode contained a “green element,” and our natural stone pavers were chosen to be included in order to prevent runoff issues. To date, we have received many praises and thanks for Permapave’s willingness to help and solve flooding problems across the U.S. Click the link below to view the scene.

CITI Field NY Mets

Permapave is proud to announce that the new CITI Field, home of the N.Y. Mets has installed our permeable pavers in their green roof project. Our 12” x 12” red pavers not only provide drainage for the N.Y. Landmark, but complement it’s beauty as well. Click on the link below to view some additional images of the project.

Flow Animation

Our all-natural stone pavers filter water at an incomparable accelerated rate of 1.5 gallons a sec/sq.ft. Permapave’s pavers keep all gross pollutants above ground while allowing the water to pass-through. Permapave’s unique characteristics can be viewed by clicking the link below to launch our animation.

Did you know that providing sufficient water for the rapidly growing urban population has become the greatest challenge faced by governments and urban administrators worldwide? Problems associated with conventional stormwater drainage systems have become evident with the increase in stormwater runoff, and the high percentage of pollution in outfall waterways.

Permapave provides a practical and economical solution to eliminate pollutants from waterways while reducing urban water wastage. The key to modern urban water management is reducing the quantity of stormwater diverted to outfall, decreasing the contamination of stormwater at outfall, and increasing the volume of water that can be diverted to subterranean aquifers.

The increased demand for urban water and the high rate of water supply pollution has adversely impact every urban dweller worldwide, leading the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to enforce strict requirements to manage water resources with sustainable solutions that enhance the level of protection to water quality.

Permapave has recognized the EPA’s requirements and has engaged in a worldwide effort to bring a crucial change in the approach to drainage design with the primary goal to provide the solution to urban water pollution.

Thirty years ago these problems did not exist. Twenty years ago they were identified as a possible problem for the future. Today they threaten our urban way of life.
